FAQs

Your Questions, Answered

  • I offer nostalgia-inspired wedding photography in Melbourne and across Victoria, with coverage tailored to your day.

That includes high-resolution edited images, an online gallery, sneak peeks shortly after your wedding, and a relaxed, story-led approach with gentle direction when you need it.

I also offer 35mm film wedding photography, instant prints on the day, and a few extras like stop-motion GIFs, because why not.

Everything is flexible, so whether you’re planning a big wedding, a small elopement, or something in between, I’ll help you figure out what actually makes sense.

  • A mix of experience, approach, and not treating your wedding like a photoshoot.

I’ve worked in the wedding world on both sides — coordinating and photographing — so I understand how the day actually flows, not just how it looks. That means I can step in when needed and disappear when I don’t.

My approach is natural, with gentle direction, so you won’t feel awkward, but you also won’t spend your whole day posing.

    And I keep things personal:

    • I shoot it

    • I edit it

    • no outsourcing, no AI

The goal isn’t perfect, overly polished photos, it’s images that actually feel like your day.

  • For full day coverage, nah. For less than full day coverage, generally I don’t charge for travel within 1-hour of my house or Metro-Melbourne.

  • This is totally dependent on a number of things, but generally, you can expect to get around 100 photos per hour of coverage. Quantity over quality, you know!

  • Firstly, we have a quick video chat to make sure we’re a good fit for each other. Then, to lock me in, I just require a 50% deposit and signed contract, and we’re good to go!

  • You’ll get a small preview within a few days of your wedding, so you’ve got something to relive it straight away.

Your full gallery is usually delivered within 8-weeks. Every image is carefully edited by me — no outsourcing, no AI, no shortcuts — so it takes a bit of time, but it’s worth it.

  • Short answer: no.

A big part of choosing a wedding photographer is connecting with their style. What you see in my work is what you’ll get - authentic, alternative, honest, and true to how the day felt.

  • While I don’t offer traditional videography, I do offer my Camcorder Cut highlight film - a nostalgia-inspired short video, shot on my vintage camcorder. A different way to relive your wedding.

  • Not at all, that’s most couples.

You don’t need to know what to do or how to pose. For most of the day, I’ll capture things naturally as they happen, and when it comes to portraits or moments that need a bit of direction, I’ll guide you in a way that feels easy and relaxed.

Nothing stiff, nothing over-posed - just enough direction so you feel comfortable and actually enjoy it.

That’s how you end up with authentic, candid, and real wedding photos that feel like you, not a performance.

  • Yep, I offer 35mm film wedding photography alongside digital coverage.

Film has a completely different feel - a bit more raw, nostalgic, and imperfect in the best way. It’s a nice contrast to digital and adds another layer to how your day is captured.

It’s available as an add-on, and I’m happy to guide you on whether it’s something that’ll suit your wedding.

  • Yes, I regularly photograph weddings across Victoria and beyond.

I’m based in South-East Melbourne, but I often shoot on the Mornington Peninsula, in the Yarra Valley, regional Victoria, and interstate when it feels right.

If you’re planning something a bit further out, just get in touch, I’m always open to travel!

  • While everyone charges differently, my packages start from $800 for 2-hours of coverage.

For full day coverage, my prices start at $2950.

  • Yes! Having worked in the wedding industry as a coordinator, I have plenty of experience to help guide you in your planning.

I have a bunch of resources such as a timeline template, checklist, and a recommended supplier list - just gimme a shout and I’ll send them!
